Because I would rather have 20 watchers that actually care than 277 who don't. :unimpressed:

It's true,I have 277 watchers in total,but only about 20 of them actually take the time to look at my art.

There are many more of coarse,these are just the ones I can name off the bat.

I don't expect my watchers to comment/favorite all my art,nor do I expect their full attention from them.I don't expect them to always be there for me like a friend would be,or to shower me with endless praise.

All that I really want,is more than a watch.

A watch dosen't really mean much to me,it's what my watchers do with it that counts.I know for a fact,that most of my watchers probably,

and I know that im not the only one.

I know what you're thinking "Well you watch 621 people,you can't possibly give them all you're attention".

I feel the same way. I have like, 130 watchers or something like that, but only like, 20-30 of them actually care about my art.

most my watchers were active till i started drawing foer a different fandom now most of them don't even do anything

How annoying is it that you loom your watchers... "OMG I've over 100 watchers!" and then realize that less than 6 actually watch ||DD

I was going to make a stamp similar to this today. You saved me some time, and I couldn't have said it better myself. When I was an unpopular artist, I thought watches meant everything. But, a few months ago, I became a stamp maker. I still only have around 50 watchers, but most don't do much with me. My inactive watchers annoy me. I'd rather them unwatch me than actually just be a pointless number on my page.

Watch backs I get I usually earn from people through being active, so I hate that some people watch me just to get me to watch them. That's not how it works.

I know some people might be intimidated by popular deviants or deviants who already have friends, I am myself, but after a while, after I feel comfortable, I actually do comment and fave. People need to remember that a watch is great, but it doesn't mean anything if no feedback comes from it.

FUCK YES. I have over 300, but I get maybe...five favs and one comment on average on my work. And I've posted over 1,000 things. I'm pretty sure they watched me for my fanfiction and then never took me off their watch.

I know that feeling. >.> I have over 500 watchers and I think only 20 maybe 30 even look, comment or sometimes fave my art. Some of them just comment telling me they like it then not fave it. :/ That's not how you do it but whatever. >.> I watch a lot of people too but I try to give them attention even though they won't do the same for me. It's sad but true. :noes:

And watchbacks are irritating and I've had someone watch me because I've favorited and commented on one of their artwork. I feel like if someone wants me to watch them they should not try to coax you into watching them. They should earn that watch from you. :)

Well thanks for that. ^^ I have a very similar situation to that too, where I have a ton of watchers and barely any of them care about my art except for a select few. (Mainly my friends.)
